Building Work to Commence at the Health Centre
We are pleased to announce that NHS Borders has secured funding for the extension and renovation of Eyemouth Health Centre. Building work will commence on Monday 17th October and is scheduled to continue for several months.
NHS Borders have released a press statement on the planned works which can be read here . This story has also been covered by The Berwickshire News (Please see the link below)
Health centre users may review the planned alterations here:
The partners and staff at the medical practice are delighted that these improvements will provide us with additional consultations rooms and vastly improved office space to help us meet the future needs of the local community. We are grateful for all the efforts of NHS Borders in securing the funding for this project and working so closely with us in developing these plans.
Obviously, such major building work will result in some disruption to services in the medical practice over the next few months. We ask patients for their tolerance and understanding at this time. Please be assured that we will endeavour to minimise the disruption whilst the building work is completed. We hope that any inconvenience caused will be minimal compared to the benefits of the improved premises.
