Influenza Immunisations
Normal Flu - The normal routine for immunisations continues and is almost complete
Swine Flu - The process of immunising several thousand people in the area is complete and to the levels expected
Staff changes
Staff nurse Debbie Baker has joined Tanya Dougal and Moira Muir in the Health Visitor's office. Debbie is going for health visitor training shortly. Anne is also in the office as Health Visitor when Moira is away.
Dr Kirsty Robinson has returned from maternity leave.
Dr David Atkinson (from Edinburgh) is working in the practice as a part time locum. Dr Atkinson trained in Edinburgh and Fife and has recently been working in northern England.
Dr John Dorward has reitred due to ill health and Dr Fiona Easton (also from Edinburgh) continues to fill his post as a locum. Dr Easton trained in Edinburgh and the Borders. She has recently returned from working in South Africa.
Buildings.
Planning permission is being sought to expand the surgery in Coldingham.
Surgeries.
There will be a few changes to surgeries over the next few months.
§ Dr Holt will do the Friday morning surgery at Cockburnspath.
§ In Dr Dorward's absence the Ayton Surgery on Monday has to be suspended.
