As of the 1st April, the practice has under gone several changes of personnel.
Dr Ruth Booth retired as a partner after 10 years of service.
She will be greatly missed by both patients and colleagues and we wish her well for the new challenges of her retirement.
We are delighted to announce that Dr Elisabeth Henderson, who previously worked with us as a salaried GP, has now joined us a partner.
Dr Henderson will be well known to many patients as she is already an established member of our medical team. Appointments with Dr Henderson are currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Over the past 18 months, Dr Henderson has been participating in the Scottish Prospective Educational Supervisor Course and after much hard work, she has successfully been approved as a second Educational Supervisor for the practice. She will support our ongoing efforts to mentor qualified doctors attached to the practice who are undertaking their specialist training in general practice – a job that has never been so important for the future of our profession.
Finally, Dr Katie Donaldson has joined us as a salaried GP.
Dr Donaldson will be familiar to many patients as she has been attached to the practice over recent years during her specialist GP training programme. We are pleased to welcome Dr Donaldson to the practice as we value her enthusiasm and vitality! She is currently working in the practice on Mondays and Tuesdays.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind patients that they are free to make routine appointments with the doctor of their choice.
